U.S. Army Special Forces
"The Green Berets"

Special Forces Heroes

This is a partial and completely arbitrary listing of Special Forces soldiers who have had a significant impact on the history of Special Forces and the development of the Special Forces mystique. It is by no means a comprehensive listing, and is not meant to include or exclude any particular SF soldier or era.

There are in fact hundreds of noteworthy individuals who could be listed here. Unfortunately, time prevents me from researching and writing biographies for every potential candidate. Don't be disappointed if you don't see your personal favorite on this list. This is a work in progress and more will be added as time allows. Feel free to send information, suggested links and nominations for publication.
